In general, as an aircraft maintenance mechanic, you may inspect aircraft parts and systems such as:
- engines
- landing gear
- instrumentation
- brakes
- valves
- pressurized sections
- pumps
- electrical
- fuel
- air-conditioning
Inspections take place following a strict schedule based on:
- the number of flying hours
- time elapsed since the last inspection
